NOTICE.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, April 10, 1873.
It is hereby notified that from and after the date hereof, the following Regulations for the Storage of Powder in the Provincial Magazine will come into operation:—

REGULATIONS FOR THE STORAGE OF POWDER IN THE PROVINCIAL MAGAZINE.

The Magazine and Ammunition will be in charge of a person appointed by the Superintendent.

No Ammunition will be received into or delivered from the Magazine without a written order signed by the Superintendent, the Provincial Secretary, or Treasurer, or issued therefrom without a license from the Licensing Officer.

The time for issuing Ammunition will be at the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. every day (weather permitting) Sundays excepted.

All persons intending to withdraw Ammunition must give at least six hours notice to the officer in charge. A receipt will be required on delivery.

All packages, barrels, &c., to be marked or labelled with the storer’s name previously to being placed in the Magazine.
CHARGES FOR STORING POWDER IN THE MAGAZINE.
For packages or barrels under 50lbs. each, 2d. per week.
Ditto, above 50lbs., 3d. per week.
Receiving and delivering each, 6d. per package or barrel.

Hereby appoint HENRY IFSHER to be Keeper of the Pound erected on allotment No. 2, Block 25, in the Town of Carlyle, in the room of John William Whelan, resigned.
