13 TARANAKI GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

PROVINCIAL ORDINANCES OF TARANAKI LEFT TO THEIR OPERATION.

THE following Ordinances, passed by the Provincial Council, and assented to by the Superintendent of Taranaki, intituled—

“The Volunteers and Militia Remission Certificate Ordinance, 1872,” and

“The Appropriation Ordinance, 1873,”

having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has not been advised to exercise his power of disallowance in respect of them.

“That the Commissioners and Auditors of the different Road Districts of the Province be continued in office until the 30th June, 1873.”

QUARTERLY LICENSING MEETING.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Quarterly Licensing Meeting for the Licensing District of Taranaki, for the purpose of taking into consideration all applications for licenses, and for the transfer, renewal, or removal of such licenses, will be held in the Court Room in the Taranaki Institute, at New Plymouth, at noon, on Tuesday the 4th day of March, 1873.

“TARANAKI LOAN ORDINANCE, 1869.”

HOLDERS of Debentures issued under the Ordinance above cited, are hereby notified that the principal moneys secured by the said Debentures will be payable at the Bank of New Zealand, New Plymouth, on or after the 1st April, 1873.
