NOTICE is hereby given that a Government Insurance and Annuity Office under "The Government Annuities Act, 1869" has been opened at the undermentioned Post Office, viz. —

NOTICE
WHEREAS by clauses 5 and 6 of the "Confiscated Lands Regulations," of the 13th April, 1870, it is provided that the Government may make Reserves for Public Purposes out of any Confiscated Lands, of which notice shall be given in the New Zealand Gazette, it is hereby notified that section 3 of Block XIV., in the Township of Carlyle, Patea District, containing thirty (30) poles, is reserved for Educational Purposes, and that the said section is bounded as follows:—
On the North, 125 links, by Leicester Street; on the East, 150 links, by section 4; on the South, 125 links, by section 9; and on the West, 150 links, by section 2, all in Block XIV.
