Provincial Council and reserved by the
Superintendent of the Province of
Taranaki for the signification of the
Governor’s pleasure thereon, intituled
“Town Board of New Plymouth Endowment Ordinance, 1871,”
having been laid before the Governor, His
Excellency has been pleased to withhold
his assent to the Ordinance.

exercise his power of disallowance with
respect to that Ordinance.
