TARANAKI GOVERNMENT GAZETTE.

PROCLAMATION

By his Honor Frederic Alonzo Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki.

WHEREAS by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of Taranaki intituled the "Roads Diversion Ordinance, 1870," it is provided that the Superintendent shall stop up certain Roads and portions of Roads after having first caused to be advertised in the Government Gazette of the Province, a notice of the proposed stoppage of such Roads, calling upon all persons objecting to set forth a statement, in writing, of any well grounded objection to such stoppage within thirty days of the first publication of such notice.

And whereas in accordance with the provisions of the above recited Ordinance, notification of the stoppage of certain Roads (including among others those mentioned below), bearing date the 4th March, 1871, was published by the Superintendent in the Taranaki Government Gazette of the 11th March, 1871.

Now therefore, I, Frederic Alonzo Carrington, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do here proclaim that no sufficient objection to the stoppage of the undermentioned Roads and portions of Roads having been received they shall henceforth cease to be public Roads or Thoroughfares, viz.:--
