NOTICE.
Fixing scale of Pound Fees and of charges for sustenance, to be charged and paid at all Pounds now in use in the Province of Taranaki.

In exercise of the authority vested in the Superintendent by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council, intituled "An Ordinance to authorise and regulate the Impounding of Cattle, and to provide for the summary recovery of compensation for damage done by Cattle trespassing," Ses. 1, No. 8, I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby appoint that the pound fees, and the charges for sustenance of cattle impounded, to be charged and paid at all Pounds hitherto appointed shall be according to the following scale:
POUNDAGE FEES.

| For every entire horse, ass, or mule above the age of 12 months | 5 | 0 |
| For every mare, gelding, colt, filly, foal, mule, or ass | 2 | 0 |
| For every bull above the age of 12 months | 5 | 0 |
| For every ox, cow, steer, heifer, or calf—for the first ten | 1 | 0 |
| For every ox, cow, steer, heifer, or calf—for the next ten | 0 | 10 |
| For every ox, cow, steer, heifer, or calf—for the next thirty | 0 | 6 |
| For every ox, cow, steer, heifer, or calf—for all above fifty | 0 | 4 |
| For every ram above the age of nine months | 2 | 0 |
| For every ewe, wether, or lamb—for the first twenty | 0 | 4 |
| For every ewe, wether, or lamb—for the next thirty | 0 | 3 |
| For every ewe, wether, or lamb—for the next fifty | 0 | 2 |
| For all over one hundred | 0 | 1 |
| For every boar over the age of three months | 5 | 0 |
| For every goat or pig | 2 | 0 |
The above fees to be paid for each day or part of a day, during which the animal is kept in Pound.
And I hereby further notify that charges for food supplied to cattle impounded in the said Pounds, shall be made by the poundkeeper according to the following scale:
