NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are published in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at New Plymouth, Taranaki, on the 21st of February, 1870, and following days.

Karena Nukutaia, Hemi
Tiabo, Matarena Te Ngutu,
Ria Tatoumao, Wikitoria Haranga,
To Autoroa, and Paira
Te Rangikataua,
Karioi, Taranaki. Kariori, Te Kopua, Nini-tua, Takapauwai, Omata, Te Opa, Tereoparu; it comes to the coast at Whareumu; it turns here towards the north to Matawhau, Ruapuke, Papakarakara, Patoka, To Kurutai, Wairakei, Taranaki, Paninga-o-Horewa, Ngaparawai, Paekakaramea, Te Wharangi, Otoi, Ngatipari, Okurukuru, Te Waikatore, Hukatara, Waihapawhapa, Koikoi; this boundary ends (and goes) to Kerikeri, Oira, Te To, Okete, Pekehau, Tipatipa, Huirangi, Te Puha, Waikato, Pitawhaiti, Pakaurangi, Te Kati, Waitotara, Tutange, Te Whakaumu, Te Rapa, Pakaraka, Te Korito, Waitere; thus is the end of the boundary. The boundaries are Mahurangi, Marangaihere, and Waihi; going on to Purakanui; it reaches Te Turanga-a-Tapuae, stretching out to Waingongoro; it goes into the Waingongoro River and comes to Te Kauru-o-Patia; goes on to Te Wakangerengere; continues on to the summit of Taranaki and meets at Mangawhero.

Haimona Hohepa, Miri Te Rapu,
Eterea Pokai,
Ngaumu Tataua, and

Ngatiruanui, Taranaki. The northern boundary is Waihi; the inland boundary is Te Whakangere; it turns and reaches Mangone; it goes on to Te Whakamaru and continues on to Te Ruawahakahere; it turns to the south and reaches Te Riu at Tapenui.
