It is hereby notified, that Writs issued for the election of Members of the Provincial Council of the Province of Taranaki have been returned with Certificates to the effect that,
For the District of the Town of New Plymouth,
Henry Robert Richmond, John Knight,
Frederick Lewis Webster, and Burton
Charles Little, of New Plymouth, merchant;
George Jackson, of Grey town, Esq.;
Roger Collins, and William Halse, of New Plymouth, Esqrs.,
William Sefton Moorhouse, of Wellington,
have been duly elected freeholders for the District of Omata;
Wm. Neilson Syme, of Okato, freeholder;
Wm. Morgan Crompton, of New Plymouth, freeholder;
Wm. Bayly, jun., of Tataraimaka, freeholder; and
Arthur Harley, of Timaru, freeholder,
have been duly elected.
