The highest reading of the Barometer observed during the year was 30.55 on the 3rd of May. The highest temperature in the sun's rays, 123°; the highest in the shade, 88°; the lowest, 30°.

Out of the 165 days on which rain fell, 68 were fine in the day time, the rain falling in the days. The greatest fall of rain in one day—30th July—was 2.81 inches. The greatest number in March and 15 in September.
