Land Regulations and Appointments




Now therefore, His Excellency the Governor, in pursuance of all powers and authorities vested in him in this behalf, doth hereby, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of New Zealand, cancel the first regulation as aforesaid, and doth make the following regulation to be construed and read with and form part of the said regulations published in the New Zealand Gazette on the eleventh day of February last:

ADDITIONAL REGULATION.

The town allotments specified in the schedule hereto shall be set apart and appropriated in part fulfilment of agreements for Compensation made between the Colonial Secretary and certain Native claimants, and recorded in the Compensation Court, in lieu of the town allotments appropriated for the said purpose by the regulations made by Order in Council of the fourth day of February, 1867.

to be a Resident Magistrate under “The Resident Magistrates’ Act, 1867,” for the District of New Plymouth, as the same is defined by a proclamation dated the 29th November, 1867.

NOTICE is hereby given that the sale by auction of Suburban Allotments, adjoining the Township of Raleigh (Waitara), advertised to take place on Saturday, the fifteenth day of February, 1868, is postponed to Tuesday, the thirty-first day of March, 1868.
