FREEMASONS' HALL COMPANY, Limited.

—Notice is hereby given, that pursuant to clause 109, paragraph 10, of “The Joint-Stock Companies Act, 1860,” a General Meeting of the Shareholders of the above Company will be held at the Company’s Office, Brougham-street, on Monday, the twenty-first day of December next, at four o’clock p.m., for the purpose of considering the account of the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding up of the said Company has been conducted and its property disposed of.

I, ROBERT CHISENHALL HAMMERTON, Registrar of Joint Stock Companies for the Province of Taranaki, do hereby notify that I have registered a Memorandum of Association, with Articles Association annexed, establishing a Company, with limited liability of the share-holders therein, entitled

THE ODD FELLOWS’ HALL COMPANY (LIMITED),

the objects of which are the purchase of the Odd Fellows’ Hall in Devon Street, New Plymouth, together with the land on which the same is erected, and the furniture and fittings therein; and that, in pursuance of the provisions of “The Joint Stock Companies Act, 1860,” I have issued a Certificate of Incorporation of the said Company, bearing date this 20th day of November, 1868.

IT is hereby notified for general information that the following officer will be appointed to receive fees for licences to be granted under “The Distillation Act, 1833,” to Brewers and Wine and Spirit Merchants:—

WHEREAS by “The Volunteer Act, 1861,” it is enacted that the Governor may at any time call out for actual service any Volunteer Corps, and that every officer and volunteer belonging to any corps so called out shall be bound to assemble at such place as the Governor may direct, and shall remain on actual service until released by the Governor’s authority:

Now therefore I, Sir George Ferguson Bowen, the Governor of New Zealand, do hereby call out for actual service the several Volunteer Corps named in the Schedule hereto; and I do hereby direct the officers and volunteers of each of the said corps to assemble at the time and place mentioned, and set opposite to the name of such corps in the Schedule aforesaid.
