NOTICE

Contracting boundaries of No. 1 Cattle District, and constituting No. 9 Cattle District.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, January 6, 1868.

Whereas by the 15th clause of the “Branding of Cattle Ordinance, 1865,” it is provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent, from time to time, by notice in the Government Gazette of the Province, to constitute Districts for the purposes of the said Ordinance, and in like manner to extend, contract, or alter the boundaries of any such District, and to revoke the notice by which any such District shall have been constituted. Now therefore, I, Henry Robert Richmond, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby contract the boundaries of No. 1 Cattle District as constituted by a notice dated the 31st August, 1865, and published in the Government Gazette of the Province, No. 22, 1865, by separating from the said District all those lands situated in the Twentieth or Hua Road District, and I hereby constitute the said lands a separate Cattle District, as follows:

No. 9 CATTLE DISTRICT.

The block of land being the Twentieth Road District, bounded on the north by the sea beach from the Waiwakaiho River to the western boundary of No. 1 Road District, thence by the said boundary to the Mangoraka River, thence by the said river to the survey tie-line adjoining the 300 acre Educational Reserve on the map of the Hua and Waiwakaiho block, thence by the said tie-line to the Waiwakaiho River, thence by the said river to the sea beach...

NOTICE

To Holders of Allotments in the Waitara Township.

NOTICE is hereby given to all persons who have purchased or selected lands in the Township of Raleigh (Waitara), and who wish that the boundaries of their allotments should be pointed out to them on the ground, that they must attend at the Survey Office, Mount Eliot, during office hours on Wednesday, the 15th inst., in order to make arrangements with the Chief Surveyor for that purpose; and that if they neglect to attend on the ground at the time to be appointed by the Chief Surveyor, in each case a charge will be made for pointing out the boundaries of their allotments at any future time.
