Earthwork at Oakura—

Brick chimney, Survey Office—

For carting stones—
W. Blake and Yates, 4s. per load.

For carting and spreading stones Oakura cutting—
H. Thomson, 2s. 3d. per yard.

Taking down buildings St. Germain’s Square and erecting them on Hospital Reserve—
B. Sutherland, £111 16s.

For erecting Oaero Bridge—
T. G. Leech, £15.

For erecting Papaitiki Bridge—
E. Gregory, £10.

For clearing line of road to Oaero—
Patrick McKoy, 11½d. per chain.

For carting materials from St. Germain’s Square to Hospital Reserve—
Charles Kingcome and R. Lethbridge, £5 9s. 4d.

For the reconstruction of the superstructure of the Waiwakaiho Bridge—
T. Evans ………… £1,000 0s. 0d.

BURIAL GROUNDS PROTECTION ORDINANCE, 1864.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, July 6, 1867.

WHEREAS by the 1st clause of the “Burial Grounds Protection Ordinance, 1864,” it is provided that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent from time to time, by notice published in the Government Gazette, to declare public burial places within which the provisions of the said Ordinance shall be in force. Now therefore I, HENRY ROBERT RICHMOND, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby declare the Wesleyan Burial Ground at the corner of Devon-street and Gover-street in the Town New Plymouth, to be a place within which the provisions of the said Ordinance shall be in force.
