ROADS AND BRIDGES ORDINANCE,
1858.
NOTICE
Imposing Minimum Rate, and appointing Commissioners and Auditors for the 13th (Tarurutangi) District.

WHEREAS by notice dated 10th April, 1866, and published in the Government Gazette of the Province of Taranaki, No. 7, 10th April, 1866, No. 13 District was (amongst others) duly constituted in accordance with the provisions of the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” and the month for convening general meetings of the electors of the said district was altered from May to April, and a general meeting of the electors of the said district was duly appointed to be held on the 28th day of April, 1866, and the minimum rate for the said district was altered from Six Pence to Three Pence per acre; and whereas no general meeting of the said district was held before the first day of June, 1866, now, therefore I,
HENRY ROBERT RICHMOND, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki,
in exercise of the powers vested in me by the said Ordinance, do hereby impose on all lands within the said district, the said minimum rate of Three Pence per acre, and I hereby appoint
GEORGE ROBINSON, ROBERT GREENWAY, and WILLIAM LYALL
to be Commissioners for the said district for the year 1866-7, and I hereby appoint
THOMAS KELLY and JAMES CROWE RICHMOND
to be Auditors for the said district for the year 1866-7.

NOTICE
Appointing times for payment of Road Rates for the 12th (Otuakawa), 14th (Tikorangi), and 16th (Okato) Districts.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, June 21, 1866.
In exercise of the powers vested in me by the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” I hereby appoint that the Rates for the year 1866-7, imposed on all lands within the districts hereunder specified, shall be paid at the Provincial Treasury, Mount Eliot, as follows, viz.:
For the 12th District, on July 1, 1866,
(1st instalment of 6d. per acre)
For the 14th District, on July 1, 1866,
(1st instalment of 6d. per acre)
For the 14th District, on December 1, 1866
(2nd instalment of 6d. per acre).
For the 16th District, on July 1, 1866.

NOTICE
Publishing names of Commissioners and Auditors elected, and the rate per acre imposed, at the general meeting of the electors for No. 15 (Oakura) District.

It is hereby notified for general information that at a general meeting of the Electors for No. 15 District, constituted “under the Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” which was duly held in accordance with the provisions of the said Ordinance
HENRY THOMPSON, RICHARD LAWS, and WILLIAM WILSON
were appointed Commissioners, and
JAMES S. McKELLAR, and FRANK J. MACE
were appointed Auditors for the said district for the year 1866-7, and a rate of Six Pence per acre was imposed on all lands within the said district.

BRANDING of CATTLE ORDINANCE,
1865.
NOTICE
Appointing a place for Exposing Cattle for Public Inspection.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, June 8, 1866.
In exercise of the power vested in the Superintendent by the “Branding of Cattle Ordinance, 1865,” I do hereby declare that I have appointed the place below specified to be a place at which Cattle shall be exposed for public inspection in accordance with the provisions of the said Ordinance—
The Stockyard on rural allotment No. 48A, Omata district, part of the farm of Messrs. A. and A. Kingdon.
