NOTICE is hereby given that the following Tenders have been accepted by the Provincial Government, viz.:
For erecting pound at the Oakura township
RICHARD LAWS...... £9 5s.
For removing fire-engine house—
JOHN BROOKING... £6 10s.

DOG NUISANCE ORDINANCE, 1863.
NOTICE
Appointing Registrars of Dogs.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, June 8, 1866.
WHEREAS by an Ordinance of the Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Taranaki, it is amongst other things enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent to appoint persons to be Registrars of Dogs, and assign to them respectively such districts as he may think fit. Now, therefore I, HENRY ROBERT RICHMOND, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby appoint the persons mentioned in the following schedule to be Registrars of Dogs, and I hereby assign to such Registrars respectively the Districts of which the descriptions are placed opposite to the names of the said Registrars respectively in the said schedule.
SCHEDULE.

| Robert Hughes | All that block of land lying between the Wairakaho River on the east, and the Paritutu line on the west. |
| Henry Trim | All that block of land lying between the eastern boundary of the Bell and Tararutuhi blocks on the east, and the Wairakaho river on the west. |
| Charles Sutton | All that block of land lying between the Paritutu line and the western boundary of the Omata and Tapanui blocks on the west. |
