NOTICE.
Additional Regulations under "The Diseased Cattle Act, 1861."
In exercise of the authority vested in me under the provisions of "The Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," I, CHARLES BROWN, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby notify and declare that the following penalties shall be imposed against the master of any ship or vessel landing or suffering to be landed any Cattle without having first obtained a Quarantine certificate from the Inspector of Diseased Cattle, or refusing or neglecting to destroy Cattle according to notice from the Inspector, he shall forfeit and pay for every head of Cattle so landed or not destroyed a penalty of not less than Β£50 nor more than Β£500.

PROCLAMATION
Importation of Cattle from Auckland Province prohibited.
By His Honor CHARLES BROWN, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, in the Colony of New Zealand.
In exercise of the authority vested in me under the provisions of "The Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," I, CHARLES BROWN, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the Province of Auckland shall be deemed to be an Infected District within the meaning of the said Act, and that no Cattle from the date hereof shall be imported into the Province of Taranaki from such district.
Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Taranaki, at New Plymouth, the 25th day of February, 1865.
