COMMISSIONER'S REPORT UNDER THE "LOST LAND ORDERS ACT, 1861."

[Reprinted from the New Zealand Gazette.]

HENRY ROBERT RICHMOND, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, entitled "The Lost Land Orders Act, 1861," to hear and decide claims for Crown Grants of lands for which the original Land Orders have been lost or destroyed. Report that the claim of

Harry Hughlings,

of Halifax, Yorkshire, England, having been referred to me by command of the Governor, I do hereby decide that the said Harry Hughlings is entitled to a Crown Grant of the Rural Allotment numbered 18, Bell District, in the Province of Taranaki.

Dated at New Plymouth, this first day of November, 1864.

of New Plymouth, having been referred to me by command of the Governor, I do hereby decide that the said Walter John Morrison is entitled to a Crown Grant of the Town Allotment numbered 2077, Town of New Plymouth, in the Province of Taranaki.

Dated at New Plymouth this 1st day of November, 1864.

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor John Perry Robinson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c., &c.

In pursuance of the power in me vested, I do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the Province of Taranaki, in the Colony of New Zealand, shall be deemed to be an Infected District within the meaning of the "Diseased Cattle Act, 1861," and that no Cattle shall be allowed to be imported from that District into the Province of Nelson.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of this Province, this twelfth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
