PLEURO-PNEUMONIA.

New Plymouth, 3rd Feb., 1865.
IN such cases as the owners of Cattle may report to an Inspector of Diseased Cattle, that he believes any of his Cattle are suffering from Pleuro-pneumonia, and it is deemed advisable by the Inspector that such Cattle be destroyed, the Government will pay for the first five head of Cattle so reported by the owner or owners, such price as the Inspector may after due inquiry certify to be the value of such animal or animals.

SURF BOAT.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 3rd Feb., 1865.
TENDERS are invited and will be received at this Office until noon of the 20th instant, for supplying a BOAT of the following description and dimensions for the Harbor Department, Taranaki, to be delivered alongside one of the Mail Steamers in the Manukau on or before the 26th of March next, or to deliver the same at New Plymouth on or before the 31st March next.
To be built of the best Kauri and other timber, clinker built and copper fastened, whale boat model, subject while building to the inspection of any person authorised by the Superintendent.
DIMENSIONS.
Length over all......30 feet.
Length of keel......26 feet.
Depth................2 feet 4 inches.
Beam.................6 feet 8 inches.
Sheer................1 foot 6 inches.
With long flat floor, pulling six oars with good accommodation for passengers.
