NOTICE.
Election and Appointment of Cattle Commissioners for No. 3 District.
It is hereby notified that at a General Meeting of the Electors for No. 3 District under the “Branding of Cattle Ordinance, 1865,” held, pursuant to notice, on Saturday, the 14th instant, for the purpose of electing Cattle Commissioners for the said district, the undermentioned gentlemen were duly elected:—
Robert Pitcairn,
John Roberts.
And it is further notified that by virtue of the power vested in the Superintendent by the 22nd clause of the said Ordinance, I have appointed
Charles Brown
to be a Cattle Commissioner for the same district.

Mr. Speaker and Gentlemen of the Provincial Council,—I have called you together at the present time more especially with the view of giving you at once an opportunity of making a change in the arrangements for carrying on the Executive Government of the Province, if you should think it desirable to do so...
