TENDERS FOR RATIONS.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 22nd January, 1864.

TENDERS for supplying the under-mentioned Rations as required for the Gaol, New Plymouth, for the year ending 31st December, 1864, will be received at this Office until noon on SATURDAY, the 30th instant:

  • Ration No. 1 at per Ration,

Particulars may be obtained at this Office. Tenders to be sealed and endorsed “Tenders for Rations.”

NOTICE

Public Pound at the Hua.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 25th January, 1864.

In exercise of the authority vested in me by the Ordinance to authorise and regulate the impounding of Cattle and to provide for the summary recovery of compensation for damage done by Cattle trespassing, Session 1, No 8, I do hereby appoint the Yard erected on the rural allotment No 17, at the junction of Devon and Nugent-streets in the Hua Village as a Public Pound from and after the date hereof. And I hereby appoint

ARTHUR HOSKIN, Yeoman,
to be keeper of such Pound.

HOSPITAL.

Tenders for Papering and Painting.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 22nd January, 1864.

TENDERS will be received at this Office until noon of SATURDAY, the 30th instant, from persons willing to contract for the Papering and Painting of the Hospital on the Kawau pah, the Contractor to find the labour and all materials.

Further particulars may be obtained at this Office.

Branding Yard for Cattle at the Hua.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 25th January, 1864.

In exercise of the authority in me vested by the “Cattle Ordinance, 1861,” I do hereby appoint the Public Pound in the Hua Village for the public inspection and branding of Cattle.
