PUBLIC RESERVES.

Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 30th May, 1864.

IN compliance with a resolution of the Provincial Council, the following gentlemen are appointed as a Commission to inquire into and report upon the value and present position in respect to titles of the lands held as an Educational Reserve, with a view to the division of the same for the following purposes:—1st. Education; 2nd. Town Improvements; 3rd. Harbor Improvements. The report also to recommend which of the said lands should be set apart for each of the above named objects duly considering the present and future requirements of the Province. And also to make any recommendations that the Commissioners may think advisable as to the consolidation of the property by sale, purchase, or exchange.

QUEEN’S WAREHOUSE.

Provincial Secretary’s Office,
New Plymouth, 8th June, 1864.

TENDERS are invited, and will be received until noon of WEDNESDAY, 8th of June, for the erection of the MASONRY required for enlarging the Queen’s Warehouse on the Beach.

TENDERS are invited and will be received until noon of WEDNESDAY, the 8th of June, for CARPENTERS’ WORK required for enlarging the Queen’s Warehouse on the Beach.

Specifications of the work required can be inspected at the office of the undersigned.
