NOTICE.
Appointing a Public Pound in the Town of New Plymouth.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 13th Oct., 1863.
In exercise of the authority vested in me by the Ordinance to authorise and regulate the impounding of Cattle and to provide for the summary recovery of compensation for damage done by Cattle trespassing, Session I, No. 8, I, Charles Brown, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby appoint that the Stock Yard on the sea beach near the landing place shall be a Public Pound for the purposes of the said Ordinance from the date hereof.
