TENDERS FOR CARTING STONE.

TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Survey Office, until noon of WEDNESDAY, the 30th instant, for the Cartage of 500 cubic yards of Stone more or less from the beach to a place in Mr. J. Hawken’s farm (through which a right of road is reserved) near to the Grey Institute, on the main South Road.

The Stone to be placed in heaps convenient for measurement and the time when it is proposed to complete the contract to be specified.

Tenders to be left at the Provincial Survey Office and endorsed, “Tenders for Carting Stone.”

TENDERS FOR STONE BREAKING.

TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Survey Office until noon of WEDNESDAY, the 30th instant, for breaking 125 cubic yards of Stone more or less, on that portion of the main South Road between the Cutfield and Beltrands.

The Stones to be broken small enough to pass through a ring 2½ inches in diameter, and to be placed in heaps convenient for measurement; and the time when it is proposed to complete the contract to be specified in the Tender.

Payments on account of contract will be made once a fortnight at the discretion of the Acting Engineering Surveyor; and intending contractors are cautioned that a strict compliance with the terms of contract will be invariably enforced.

Tenders to be left at the Provincial Survey Office and endorsed, “Tenders for Stone Breaking.”
