NORTHERN DISTRICT, PROVINCE OF TARANAKI.
NOTICE is hereby given that a Circuit Court of the Supreme Court for the Northern District of New Zealand for the despatch of Criminal business will be holden in the large Room at the Masonic Hotel, Devon-street, New Plymouth, on Monday, the 29th day of June, 1863, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, and that a sitting for the despatch of Civil business will be holden in the large Room aforesaid on Tuesday, the 30th day of June, 1863, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon at which times and place all persons bound by Recognizances to appear as prosecutors, witnesses, or defendants are required to give their attendance.

NOTICE.
PROHIBITING THE SLAUGHTERING OF PIGS IN THE TOWN OF NEW PLYMOUTH.

New Plymouth, 12th June, 1863.
In exercise of the power vested in me by the "Slaughter House Ordinance, 1862,"
1857," I, Charles Brown, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby prohibit from and after the date hereof, the slaughtering of Pigs and dressing of the carcasses thereof by any person for his own consumption in the districts of the Town of New Plymouth within which Pigs are prohibited to be kept under the provisions of the "Municipal Police Ordinance, 1862," and which districts are specified hereunder:
TOWN OF NEW PLYMOUTH.
A line commencing at the Sea beach in continuation of Dawson-street, thence along the Sea beach to Gover-street, thence along Gover-street to Lemon-street, thence along Lemon-street, the north boundary of the Military Reserve, and Fulford-street to Dawson-street, and thence along Dawson-street to the Sea beach.
ST. GERMAIN'S SQUARE.
The block of land including St. Germain's Square bounded on the north-west by Buller-street, on the south-east by Devon-street, on the north-east by Town allotments Nos. 1322, 1346, 1364, 1382, 1408, and 1431, and on the south-west by Town allotments Nos. 1312, 1335, 1360, 1378, 1396, and 1421.
