Sir,—I am directed by His Excellency the Governor to enclose for your information, and for the purpose of being made public if you should desire to do so, a short account of the proceedings which took place at Tataraimaka this morning. Fuller particulars will be laid before the public so soon as His Excellency receives Lieut.-General Cameron’s official despatch.
