NOTICE is hereby given that the provisions of the Thistle Ordinance will be strictly enforced by the Sergeant of Police.

THE Provincial Government will advance money for the payment of wages on account of the Thistle allowance awarded by the Hon. H. Sewell, for the destruction of the Thistles under the provisions of the “Thistle Ordinance, 1862.”
Hitherto allowed to some of the Militiamen working on the roads will cease after the present week.
