NOTICE.

IN exercise of the power in me vested, I do hereby appoint and declare that the Public Pound, situated in Gill street, Town of New Plymouth, shall be open on and after the 1st July next for the Impounding of Cattle, &c., as authorised and regulated by the Impounding Ordinance of the Province.

THE following appointments by His Excellency the Governor are notified for general information:

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Edward Smyth Willcocks, Esq., to be Registrar of the Supreme Court at New Plymouth, by warrant under his hand dated the 1st day of June, 1861.

By His Excellency’s command,

FRED. WHITAKER.

And by a like warrant of the same date, also Clerk of the District Court.

His Excellency has also been pleased to appoint the said Edward Smyth Willcocks Clerk in the Resident Magistrate’s Court at New Plymouth, by letter dated 1st June, 1861.
