NOTICE UNDER CATTLE BRANDS' ORDINANCE.

NOTICE is hereby given, that in pursuance of the power in me vested by the above Ordinance, I have appointed the pen on Mr John Richard Lawson's section, and the pen on Mr W. Rendall's section, as the only places in the Upper Mangorei district at which Cattle are to be exposed previous to their being branded.

EDUCATIONAL RESERVES.
Superintendent's Office,
New Plymouth, 25th July, 1861.
PREVIOUS to leasing the Reserves for Educational Purposes, in conformity with a Resolution passed at a Public Meeting held on the 22nd instant, the Surveyor of the Province, O. Carrington, Esq., will, on Monday, the 29th instant, weather permitting, point out the external boundaries of the land proposed to be leased, commencing at 10 o'clock a.m. on the South side of the Huatoki, and at 2 o'clock p.m. on the North side of the Huatoki.
