NOTICES UNDER CATTLE BRANDS ORDINANCE.
Superintendent's Office, Dec. 8, 1860.
NOTICE is hereby given, that in pursuance of the power vested in me by the above Ordinance, I have appointed the pen adjoining the Slaughter-house as the place at which all Cattle are to be exposed for inspection previous to their being slaughtered : and that I have appointed the pen in Brougham-street, adjoining Messrs Sharland & Watt's Store, as a place at which Cattle are to be exposed previous to branding.

ALL owners of Cattle or Sheep, and the public generally, are cautioned that any person slaughtering Cattle or Sheep, or branding, shearing, or marking the same, without having twenty-four hours previously delivered to me, at my house, notice in writing of his intention so to do, becomes liable to heavy penalties under the Cattle Brands Ordinance, 1860.
