Sir,—I have the honor to forward to you the enclosed documents, and at the same time to inform your Honor that the Sub-Treasurer at New Plymouth has been instructed to pay over to the Provincial Treasurer the balance shown in the account current to be due to the Province of Taranaki on account of the period ended 30th June, 1858, viz: three hundred and seventy-four pounds, ten shillings, and eight pence (£374 10s. 8d.).
I have also to request that your Honor will be so good as to cause payment to be made at the same time into the Sub-Treasury of the sum of five pounds, sixteen shillings, and eight pence (£5 16s. 8d.), being a sum paid to Mr. C. Heaphy for a map on account of the Province of Taranaki.
