ROADS AND BRIDGES ORDINANCE

NOTICE TO RATEPAYERS.
Superintendent’s Office,
New Plymouth, 7th October, 1859.

In pursuance of the powers vested in me by the “Roads and Bridges Ordinance, 1858,” the Superintendent of the Province of Taranaki, do hereby appoint that the Rates imposed on the lands within the several districts particularised in the annexed Schedule shall be paid to the Provincial Treasurer, at his office, Devon-street, on the 12th day of November next.

District Rates
Town Ten shillings per cent.
First Sixpence per acre.
Second Sixpence per acre.
Third Sixpence per acre.
Fourth Nine pence per acre.
Fifth Sixpence per acre.
Sixth Sixpence per acre.
Seventh Sixpence per acre.
Eighth Peppercorn per acre.
Ninth Sixpence per acre.
Tenth Sixpence per acre.

RETURN of the Sale of Licenses under the Town Pasturage Ordinance, Session 2, No. 2, for the period commenced the 1st day of October, and ending the 30th day of December, 1859.
