THE following tenders and designs for the erection of a Bridge over the River Waiwakaiho have been received and are published for general information.

TENDER AND DESIGN ACCEPTED.

J. Brooking, Bow Girder, with wood piers, £2,300.
(alterations and additions subsequently agreed on ...... £105.)

TENDERS AND DESIGNS REJECTED.

J. Brooking, Lattice-Bridge, wood piers, £2,200.
J. Brooking, ditto, stone piers, £2,400.
J. Brooking, Bow Girder, stone piers, £2,500.
R. Rundle, Bow Girder, wood piers, £2,365.

J. Gyde, Trussed bridge, wood piers, £2,650.

DESIGN AND ESTIMATE WITHOUT TENDER.

J. T. Shaw, Suspended Arch, £1500 to £1600.

RURAL LAND SALE.

Superintendent's Office,
New Plymouth, 16th July, 1857.

NOTICE is hereby given, that there will be a periodical sale of Rural Land in the Hua and Waiwakaiho Hundred, under the Land Regulations of the Province, at the Crown Lands Office, in the town of New Plymouth, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, on the first day of every month, unless the same fall on a Sunday or on Good Friday, and in that case on the following day.
