PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS an Act was passed in the fifteenth and sixteenth years of the Reign of Her present Majesty, cap. LXXII. intituled "An Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand,"

And whereas, by the 15th clause of the above recited Act, it is enacted, that, "It shall be lawful for the Superintendent, by Proclamation in the Government Gazette, to fix such Place or Places within the Limits of the Province, and such times for holding the first and every other Session of the Provincial Council as he may think fit,"

Now therefore, I, the Superintendent of the Province of New Plymouth, do hereby proclaim and declare, that I have appointed the next Sittings of the First Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of New Plymouth, to be holden in the Building on Town Section No. 933 on the Plan of the Town of New Plymouth, in the Province of New Plymouth.

Given under my hand at New Plymouth, this nineteenth day of November, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fifty-three.
