IT is hereby notified that Messrs. Pay & Co. are authorized to levy the following Tolls, Dues, and Wharfages at the Invercargill Jetty:

Salt, Lime, and Stone, per ton ... 1s.
Timber, per 100 ft. superficial ... 3d.
Pailings, per 100 ... 2d.
Posts and Rails, per 100 ... 2s 6d.
Grain and Bran, per bushel ... ¼d.
Wool, per bale ... 6d.
Bricks, per 100 ... 6d.
Coals and Chaff, per ton weight ... 1s 6d.
Stock.
Sheep, Goats, and Pigs, per head ... 1d.
Cattle and Horses ... 1s 0d.
Immigrants’ Luggage ... Free.
Passengers’ Luggage ... Free.
Provincial and General Government Goods ... Free.
Stores and Water for actual use on board vessels ... Free.
Flour to be calculated at 2000 lbs. to the ton
Packages or Articles (logs excepted), 5 cwt and upwards, per ton ... 2s 6d.
Packages or Articles (logs excepted) 10 cwt. and upwards, per ton ... 5s.
Do. do. 20 ewt. and upwards, per ton ... 10s.
All other Goods, 1s 6d per ton of 20 cwt, or 40 cubic feet, at option of Wharfinger.
NOTICE.
HARBOR DUES AND JETTY TONNAGE DUES.
IT is hereby notified that a half-yearly rate of sixpence per register or measured ton will be levied on all decked vessels entering or plying within the Port of Invercargill, such rate to be paid in advance each half-year, from first of January and first of July current, and to become due on the first of January and first of July. Any intermediate payment shall free vessels so paid for until the next ensuing term for payment.
N.B.—The Collector of Customs at Invercargill is authorized to collect the Harbor Dues above referred to, and also the Jetty Tonnage Dues authorized by the Superintendent to be levied in the “Southland Provincial Government Gazette, No. 15, 11th February, 1862.”
