SUPREME COURT.

NOTICE is hereby given that the half-yearly sitting of the Supreme Court for the despatch of criminal and civil business, will be held in the Council Hall, Invercargill, on Wednesday, the twelfth day of May next, at ten o’clock forenoon, at which time and place all persons under recognizance to appear as prosecutors, defendants, or witnesses, are hereby required to give their attendance.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor has assented to the Proclamation issued under the Diseased Cattle Acts by His Honor the Superintendent of Southland, dated the 24th day of December, 1868, and published in the ‘New Zealand Gazette,’ No. 9, of the 19th February, 1869.

CUSTOMS.—Whereas a certain building situate on Section 16, Block IX., in the Town of Invercargill, and known as McPherson’s Bond, was some time since appointed as a warehouse for the reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof: Now, in exercise of the authority in me for this purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of Customs, do, by this Order under my hand, revoke and annul, as from the day of the date hereof, the appointment of the said building as such warehouse as aforesaid.

Given under my hand at Wellington, this fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
