the Provincial Council of the Province of Southland, intituled—
“The Vagrant Ordinance 1862 Repeal Ordinance, 1867;”
which Ordinance was reserved for the signification of the Governor’s pleasure thereon, having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has been pleased to assent to the same.

in the various Provinces of the Colony, a notification of whose appointments appears in this Gazette, to frank and receive, free from pre-payment of postage, for a period of six months from this date, letters and packets addressed from or to them “On Census Business Only.”
