VICTORIA by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland Queen. To Charles Dopping Irvine of Invercargill in the Province of Southland and Colony of New Zealand Civil Engineer his servants and workmen and his sub-contractors and their servants and workmen and William Henderson Calder and James Blacklock both of Invercargill aforesaid Merchants and their servants and workmen and their sub-contractors and their servants and workmen and to all persons whomsoever.
WHEREAS John Macpherson of Invercargill aforesaid Merchant sole partner of and carrying on business in Invercargill aforesaid under the style or firm of Macpherson and Company hath brought an action against you the said Charles Dopping Irvine in Our Supreme Court of New Zealand wherein he complains that you have wrongfully taken from him certain timber lying near the site of the Oreti Bridge and refused to pay certain sums of money due by you to him and set forth in the declaration in said action. We therefore do strictly enjoin and command you the said Charles Dopping Irvine William Henderson Calder and James Blacklock and all and every the persons before mentioned under peril of the further process of the said Court that you and every of you do absolutely desist from cutting or using in the erection of the Oreti Bridge situated at the Oreti Ferry on the Riverton Road or in otherwise injuring or in any way removing or using the timber imported on account of the said Charles Dopping Irvine by the Ships or Vessels called the Swordfish and Ella Gladstone until our said Court shall make order to the contrary hereof.

NOTICE.
HARBOUR DUES.
IT is hereby notified that a half-yearly rate of Sixpence per register or measured ton, will be levied on all decked vessels entering or plying within the Port of Invercargill. Such rate to be paid within each half-year, from 1st of July current, and to become due on the 1st of January and 1st of July.
