IT is hereby notified that the ground specified below has been temporarily reserved under Clause XVI., of the “Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865.”

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SOUTHLAND GOLD FIELDS.
WITH reference to section 2, of part X., in which it is ordered that “every holder of a License for the sale of fermented and spirituous liquors shall pay a fee for the same of twenty pounds (£20),” the same is hereby cancelled, and the following is substituted:—
“Every holder of a License for the sale of fermented or spirituous liquors, shall pay a fee for the same, of ten pounds (£10).”

TOWNSHIP RESERVE.
Eastern Bush, Run, No. 165, containing 250 acres, more or less, bounded on the west by section No. 12, on the south by sections No. 18 and 3, and a Public Road, on the east by a line parallel to, and 40 chains distant from, the western boundary, and on the north by a line running due east, being the continuation of the northern boundary of section No. 12, aforesaid.
THE following occupiers of land in the Winton Hundreds have been elected Wardens for the said Hundreds in terms of the 42nd Clause of the “Southland Waste Lands Act, 1865,” viz:—

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint Kenneth Rose, Esq., to be Deputy Registrar of Marriages, and of Births, Deaths, and Marriages, for the District of Invercargill, in the Province of Southland.

By the Honorable John Parkin Taylor, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Southland.
IN pursuance of the provisions of the “Provincial Reserved Bills Act, 1858,” section 2, I hereby notify that the following Ordinance passed by the Provincial Legislature of the Province of Southland, namely—the “Provincial Liabilities Confirmation Ordinance, 1867”—having been laid before His Excellency the Governor, His Excellency has assented to the same.

THE following Ordinance, passed by the Provincial Council of the Province of Southland, intituled “The Provincial Liabilities Confirmation Ordinance, 1867;” which Ordinance was reserved for the signification of the Governor’s pleasure thereon, having been laid before the Governor, His Excellency has been pleased to assent to the same.
