  6. Sums voted for Roads by Provincial Council to be paid to Treasurer of district in what proportion.

An Ordinance to amend the Roads Ordinance, 1862.

Title.

WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal certain sections of the “Roads Ordinance, 1862,” and to make other provisions in lieu thereof:

BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Superintendent of the Province of Southland with the advice and consent of the Provincial Council thereof as follows:

  1. The Short Title of this Ordinance shall be the “Roads Ordinance, 1862, Amendment Ordinance, 1867.”

  2. The twenty-ninth, thirtieth, thirty-second and thirty-eighth sections of the said Ordinance are hereby repealed.
