IT is hereby notified that a Writ, issued for the Election of One Member of the Provincial Council of the Province of Southland, for the District of Longwood, has been returned, with a certificate to the effect that

BLUFF HARBOUR.
NOTICE TO MARINERS.
THE following alterations in the Color of Buoys will be made on the First day of February, 1866, or as soon after as practicable:—
Entering Bluff Harbour by either Channel, all Starboard-hand Buoys, now White, will be colored Red; and the Red-colored Buoy on the N.E. end of the Shoal, to the Eastward of the Harbour, will be colored Black.
