Subject to the qualification above stated, as to the uncertainty of attending this mode of estimating the Population of each Province, and as to the absence of all the information specially relating to the month of December which would be necessary to make the calculation (such as it is) complete, the following figures are given as indicating, more or less approximately, the Population of the several Provinces on the 30th of June:-
