NOTICE is hereby given that Money Orders will be issued on and after the 1st June next, at any Money Order Office in New Zealand, for the transmission of Money to the Colony of Tasmania. Commission will be charged on Money Orders issued at the following rates. For any sum

Not exceeding £5 - - - 1s.
Above £5, and not exceeding £10 - - - 2s.

No single order will be issued for a greater amount than £10.

Full information as to form of application for a Money Order, &c., will be supplied to the public on application at any Money Order Office.

NOTE.—The office first named in each Province, and printed in italics, is the Chief Money Order Office of the Province.

THE subjoined Bye Laws, passed at a meeting of the Wardens for the Oteramika Hundred, on the 29th March, 1865, have received the sanction of the Waste Land Board.

  1. The district included under the following Bye Laws, shall be Blocks Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, only of Oteramika Hundred.

  2. None but license holders shall be allowed to depasture horses or cattle of any description on the unenclosed lands, saving that working bullocks or horses of travellers, shall not be considered trespassers, unless turned out to graze longer than one night.

  3. No person shall be allowed to depasture more than one head of cattle for every eight acres occupied by him in the district.

  4. Sheep shall not be allowed to be depastured on the unenclosed lands.

  5. No entire horse or bull shall be depastured on the unenclosed lands, without written permission of the Wardens.

  6. All license holders shall register with the nearest Warden before 1st May, 1865, a description of their horses and cattle, and their brands.

  7. All license holders shall give notice to the nearest Warden before removing any cattle from the district included by the Bye Laws.

  8. License holders bringing cattle or horses within the district, shall within forty-eight hours furnish to the nearest Warden a statement of their description and brands.

  9. All horses and cattle belonging to others than license holders, found astray in the district, shall be impounded.

  10. The penalty for any breach of the foregoing Bye Laws shall be determined by the Wardens, and shall be any sum not exceeding Five Pounds, to be recovered in a summary way, as provided by the 67th Clause of the Land Regulations.
