PROCLAMATION

By JAMES A. R. MENZIES, Esq.,
Superintendent of the Province of Southland.

IN PURSUANCE of the power in me vested, I do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof, the district of the Province of Southland shall be and be deemed to be an Infected District, within the meaning of the "Diseased Cattle Act, 1861."

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of this Province, this sixteenth day of January, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-four.
