PROCLAMATION,
By JAMES A. R. MENZIES, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of Southland.
In pursuance of the power vested in me in that behalf, I do hereby fix and proclaim that the Fifth Session of the Provincial Council of the Province of Southland shall be held within the Mechanics’ Institute, Invercargill, in the said Province, and shall commence upon Saturday, the 10th day of October, 1863, at 12 o’clock, noon, and the Members of the said Council are hereby warned to give their attendance at the said time and place accordingly.
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Southland, this ninth day of September, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

It is hereby notified that I have granted exemption from Pilotage charges at the Bluff Harbour, under the conditions of clauses 10 and 12 of the Harbour Regulations, as published in the New Zealand Gazette of 22nd February, 1861, to the s.s. Titania, so long as the said steam vessel continues under the command of Captain Andrew W. Jarvey.
