And I do declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation and take effect on and from the 1st day of September, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

Given under my hand at the Government House, Auckland, and issued under the seal of the Colony of New Zealand, this sixteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint the undermentioned persons to be Registrars of Marriages for the Districts set opposite their names, as the same are defined in Proclamations bearing date the 16th instant, and published in this Gazette: —


Christopher Francis De Sales O’Toole, District of Campbell-town.
Matthew Price, District of Invercargill.
Benjamin Bailey, District of Riverton.

These appointments to take effect from the 1st of September next.
