Superintendent's Office,
Southland, 9th February, 1863.

It is hereby notified that I have granted an exemption from Pilotage dues, under the conditions of Clauses 10 and 12 of the Harbour Regulations, as published in The New Zealand Gazette of 22d February, 1862, to J. R. M. C. S. Airedale, at the Port of the Bluff, so long as the said vessel continues under the command of Captain Alexander Kennedy.

NOTICE.

Invercargill Public Pound,
4th February, 1863.

IMPOUNDED this evening by John Hill, contractor, Waikiwi, one White Bullock branded P off hip, Δ off shoulder; said bullock was found straying amongst a field of oats on the Gladstone Estate. Damages claimed Ten Pounds Sterling. If not claimed, to be sold at the Pound here on the 5th day of March next, at 10 o’clock a.m.
