IT is hereby notified that I have provisionally appointed
Mr. James Brown Gregg
to be Assistant Harbour Master for the Port of Invercargill.

I HEREBY certify that John Theophilus Hellyer, of Riverton, in the Province of Southland, has this day, in terms of an Ordinance passed by the Legislative Council of New Munster, Session I, No. 2, of 1849, and intituled an “Ordinance to define the qualifications, and to provide for the remuneration in certain cases of Medical Practitioners,” submitted for my examination his Diploma admitting him a Member of the Royal College of Medicine, Edinburgh, and also a Certificate of the Company of Apothecaries of London, admitting him to practise as an Apothecary.
Dated at the Resident Magistrate’s Court, Invercargill, this 22nd day of January, 1863.
