ROBERT MITCHELL, Returning Officer, appointed by His Honor the Superintendent of the Province of Southland, to preside at a meeting of the Electors of Invercargill in the Provincial Council of Southland, assembled on the 7th day of January 1863, at 12 o'clock noon, at the School-house, Invercargill, for the purpose of Electing Four Persons to be Members of the Town Board of Invercargill, hereby certify that the following persons were duly elected by a majority of votes:—

William Garthwaite,
John Blacklock.

CUSTOMS. BLUFF HARBOR.
NOTICE is hereby given that an iron building belonging to Mr. George Perry, situate on, and close to the Eastern Boundary of the Provincial Government Reserve, in the Town of Campbelltown, Custom House fronting on the beach, has been duly approved and appointed in accordance with the XI Clause of “Customs Regulation Act, 1858,” to be a Warehouse for the securing of Goods, under Bond for the Payment of Duties of Customs.
