We the undersigned, Auditors of the Public Accounts of Southland, having this day examined the same, find that they are correctly stated, duly authorised, and properly vouched; that the Revenue for the Quarter ending 30th June, 1862, was Thirty-three thousand, five hundred and sixty pounds, ten shillings, and eight pence; And the Expenditure for the same period was Sixteen thousand, four hundred and eighty-eight pounds, thirteen shillings and sevenpence; and that there remained in the hands of the Provincial Treasurer, Seventeen thousand and eighty pounds seven shillings and one penny.
