PROCLAMATION

By James A. R. Menzies, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Southland.

IN pursuance of the provisions of the “Provincial Improved Polls Act, 1858,” Section 2, I hereby notify that the Ordinance passed by the Provincial Legislature of the Province of Southland, entitled the “Provincial Government Ordinance, 1862,” has been laid before His Excellency the Governor, and that His Excellency has assented to the same.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Southland, this tenth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-two.

PROCLAMATION

By James A. R. Menzies, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Southland.

IN pursuance of the power in me vested in that behalf by the “Education Ordinance, 1862,” I hereby proclaim and declare that the district named and described in the Schedule hereunder written, shall be an Educational District under the said Ordinance, and I do hereby further declare that the provisions of the said Ordinance shall come into operation in the said district from and after the twelfth day of June 1862.

SCHEDULE.

CAMPBELLTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT.

Town of Campbelltown, and Block I. of Campbelltown Hundred, as laid off upon the maps of the said Hundred.

Southland, June 9th, 1862.

IT is hereby notified that I have provisionally appointed Francis W. Sager to be Crown Grants Clerk in the Province of Southland.

IT is hereby notified that on and after the 1st July 1862, Goods may be stored for short periods in the Government Store at the Jetty, subject to the charges specified below, payable for every week or part of a week to the Jetty Keeper on removal.

Do. Spirits and Wines ... 0 1
